The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has officially unveiled a new era, announcing that the competition will be known as the Doha Bank Stars League for the next three seasons, beginning with the 2025–26 campaign.
Alongside the new name, the league introduced a refreshed visual identity and logo, inspired by the prestigious championship shield, symbolizing the league’s ambition and evolution.
The 2025–26 season will kick off on August 14, with all fixtures in the first six weeks played on state-of-the-art, air-conditioned pitches. Opening-round matches will be spread over three days:
* August 14: Al Rayyan vs. Al Sailiya (Ahmed bin Ali Stadium), Al Shamal vs. Al Ahli (Khalifa International Stadium)
* August 15: Al Arabi vs. Al Wakrah (Al Thumama Stadium), Al Gharafa vs. Umm Salal (Al Bayt Stadium)
* August 16: Al Sadd vs. Qatar SC (Jassim bin Hamad Stadium) – the reigning champions begin their title defense?Al Duhail vs. Al Shahania (Khalifa International Stadium)
Fans can expect an exciting start as Qatar’s top clubs compete under a new banner, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter in the nation’s premier football competition.
