The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2025, presented by Aramco, together with FIFA, has confirmed that Qatar will host the final three matches of the prestigious club competition this December.

The tournament will determine the best club in world football for 2025, with teams competing for three major titles: the FIFA Derby of the Americas, the FIFA Challenger Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Matches are scheduled for December 10, 13, and 17.

Qatar has successfully staged this global event three times before—in 2019, 2020, and most recently in 2024, when Real Madrid lifted the trophy in front of a sold-out crowd at Lusail Stadium, the 80,000-seat venue that also hosted the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final.

Match Schedule in Qatar:

* December 10 – FIFA Derby of the Americas?Concacaf Champions Cup winners Cruz Azul (Mexico) vs. Copa Libertadores champions (CONMEBOL).

* December 13 – FIFA Challenger Cup?CAF Champions League winners Pyramids FC (Egypt) vs. Winner of Match 3.

* December 17 – FIFA Intercontinental Cup Final?UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (France) vs. Winner of Match 4.

This global showpiece will be part of an action-packed football calendar in Qatar. The country will also host the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 from November 3–27, followed by the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 from December 1–18. The Intercontinental Cup matches are scheduled on rest days of the Arab Cup, underscoring Qatar’s capacity to deliver multiple world-class tournaments simultaneously.
