The Qatar Football Association (QFA) participated in the Sixth Meeting of the AFC Financial Committee, held on Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

QFA Secretary-General Mansoor Al Ansari represented the association in his capacity as a member of the committee, as part of the series of meetings scheduled for the first half of 2026.

During the session, members approved the minutes of the previous meeting held in December before reviewing the agenda of the sixth gathering. The committee endorsed the external auditor’s report and referred it to both the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Financial Committee for further consideration, along with several other related matters.

Discussions covered a wide range of financial topics, including the comprehensive income statement, revenue streams and broadcasting production costs, administrative and special project expenditures, salaries and benefits, as well as development, education, and membership enhancement programs.

Committee members reviewed the AFC’s financial performance over the previous period and reaffirmed their support for the implementation of the Confederation’s financial plans and strategic programs.

They also examined ways to ensure the continued delivery of AFC competitions and activities across all categories, while striving to achieve further success at the continental level.
