Preparations for the World Cup in the United States Canada and Mexico this June are underway with coach Julen Lopetegui announcing the Al Annabi squad for the March 2026 international break. The list features 32 players called up for the upcoming preparatory camp.
The goalkeepers selected are Salah Zakaria, Shahab Al-Leithi, Meshal Barsham, and Mahmoud Abunada. The remainder of the squad comprises Ahmed Al-Janhi, Ahmed Al-Rawi, Ahmed Fathi, Edmilson Junior, Akram Afif, Anas Abdulsalam, Ayoub Al-Alaoui, Ibrahim Al-Hassan, Almoez Ali, Al-Hashmi Al-Hussein, Khoukhi Boualem, Pedro Miguel, Bassam Al-Rawi, Hassan Al-Haydos.
The full list also includes Khalid Ali, Assim Madibo, Essa Lay, Karim Boudiaf, Lucas Mendes, Mubarak Shanan, Mohammed Khaled, Mohammed Manai, Mohammed Waad, Marwan Sharif, Mustafa Tariq, Nail Mason, Hommam Al-Amin, and Youssef Abdelressaq.
