The Qatar national beach handball team has officially announced its squad for the upcoming Asian Beach Games, set to take place in Sanya, China from April 21 to 30, as the team prepares for another strong continental challenge.
Head coach Khaled Hassan has selected a 19-player roster featuring a blend of experience and depth. The squad includes Osama Bakr Moussa, Hamdi Ayad, Malek Faisal, Al Sadiq Adel, Abdul Razzaq Murad, Abdul Hadi Taha, Mohamed Lotfi, Saif Al Din Al Bashir, Amir Danqir, Anis Zawawi, Hani Kakhi, Osama Mohamed, Nidal Masoud, Salim Al Dridi, Abdul Rahman Helmi, Mohamed AlMatri, Zarko Markovic, Rashid Youssef, and Ahmed Al Minawi.
Qatar will open their campaign with a busy start on April 21, facing Pakistan before taking on Oman later the same day. The schedule continues with two matches on April 23 against Bangladesh and Mongolia, followed by a clash with Jordan on April 24. The team will then meet Thailand on April 26, before wrapping up the group stage against the Maldives on April 27.
With a demanding fixture list and multiple matches in quick succession, Qatar will be aiming to maintain consistency and momentum as they push for a deep run in the tournament.
