Qatar's Jassim Al Obaidly Supports FIFA World Cup 2026 Operations in Miami

Meet Eng. Jassim Al Obaidly, Senior Manager, Venue Management, at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), who is serving as a Venue Operations Manager at Miami Stadium during the FIFA World Cup 2026™?.

In this role, Al Obaidly plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of match-day operations throughout the tournament.
“Years of delivering major tournaments in Qatar have taught me that preparation is the foundation of every successful operation. When you plan for every scenario, the team is able to respond with confidence, and the venue operates exactly as it should,” said Al Obaidly. 

He added: “Applying the expertise we have built through major local and international events is what keeps Qatar’s legacy alive and ensures it continues to grow. This legacy lives in our people. With every tournament and event they support, their experience deepens, our capabilities become stronger, and our ability to deliver at the highest level, both in Qatar and internationally, continues to advance.”

Al Obaidly is among a group of SC experts supporting the FIFA World Cup 2026™ under a knowledge and expertise transfer agreement between the SC and FIFA. Having delivered numerous major tournaments in Qatar, including the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, SC staff are working closely with host city teams in the United States and Canada, supporting them across different functional areas.
