Al Shahania returned to winning ways in style with a convincing 3-0 victory over Al Wakrah in Week 9 of the 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League at Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium on Friday.
The victory marked Al Shahania's third win of the league campaign, taking their points tally to 10, while Al Wakrah remained on 11 points following the defeat.
Al Shahania took the lead just before the half-time whistle through Abdoulaye Traore, who found the net in the fourth minute of added time (45+4).
Traore's effort took a deflection off the bottom-left post before striking the diving Al Wakrah goalkeeper Omair Al Sayed and crossing the goal line to give his side a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Al Shahania continued to push for more goals after the restart and eventually doubled their lead through Alvaro Sanz in the 76th minute.
Traore then completed his brace in stoppage time, scoring in the 90+4th minute to seal an impressive 3-0 victory for Al Shahania.
